Culinary Development Center in Pula
As the name suggests, through this cooking show you will try the most famous flavors of Istria. In practice, this means that you will try the most famous Istrian dishes and taste the best wines, liqueurs and olive oils.
At the beginning, you will be greeted with an Istrian plate with a selection of cheeses and prosciutto and a welcome drink, red wine liqueur, the popular “Teranino”.
Through the cooking show, one of the most famous Croatian chefs will prepare 3 courses and a dessert for you. Also, during the evening, the best local olive oils and wines will be paired with the dishes.
Everything takes place in a relaxed atmosphere, where gastronomy and fun are combined, and the head chef, who is known for his spontaneity and sense of humor, contributes to this.
During the entire cooking show, Deniz presents the story of Istrian cuisine, and the participants themselves can get involved with questions about Istrian tradition, gastronomy and culture.
HEAD CHEF
Deniz Zembo is one of the most famous chef in Croatia. Turning point in his carrer was stay in London, where he opened and managed own restaurant for years. He brought the molecular gastronomy first in Croatia with famous restaurant he managed “Le Mandrac”. Deniz cooked for many presidential delegations and recently had the opportunity to cook for the Pope and the Vatican. He is loved by many for his relaxed attitude and humor.
